4. Review of current holdings

There was a very brief review of holdings.

Bulls:
LSE - very dramatic rise in value. The danger is they may also fall very quickly. The concensus is that it should be kept until it starts to fall and then profits quickly taken. The target price for this share varies between members of the group ranging from 545p to 580p. An e-mail sale may be requested tomorrow when the team has been consulted to avoid losing todays gains.

Bovis - on its way up again - favourable press (telegraph) received. Target price is 600p. Plan to sell if it breaches the target price.

Cowboys:

Disappointing month. Three shares have not done well.

SPW - holding until it reaches its stop loss. Price has dropped due to bad investments in the US (power generators).

TTG - on an 8% stop loss. Passed through its stop loss so quickly that the share could not be ditched. Holding now as it starts to recover.

UKC - has been doing OK on a 16% stop loss. Also quickly fell through stop loss after bad news (failed to get planning permission for open cast site and re-guidance). Hoped it would recover but instead it breached its new stop loss and was ditched.

ABP - doing OK on a 2.3% stop loss

HSBC - bought on a peak

Kelda - Share price rising again, now on a 532 stop loss.

Hardy and Hansons - doing OK.
