4. Review of current holdings

There was a very brief review of holdings.

Cowboys:

Scottish Power - fallen this month and close to stop loss, being carefully monitored.

Associated British Ports  - nothing new to report.

Isoft - nothing to report

Hardys and Hansons - keeps on edging upwards

Kelda - Lost 5% last week. May consider selling. Do the bulls want to make a serious offer to purchase this share? They will put in to the vote at their next meeting.

UK Coal - Recovering since 2002. On a 14% stop loss (currently 148). Continuing upwards

TT Electronics - new share purchase.

The group have also purchased HSBC and Whitbread this month (November) and these will appear in the next minutes. The shares were bought on a new strategy that involves calulating the ratio of reward over risk.

Cowboys have no money left. They have been buying shares on the run up to Christmas because traditionally that is when share prices tend to grow.

Bulls:

Not many meeting since Cyril left. Need to re-organise the group. Will not be done until next month, because this is normally when the members and shares get reorganised.

Creative - Still buying and expanding. Very volatile, still not profitable

Pennon Group - nice utility company edging upwards.

Good month for bull shares. They are close to catching the cowboys.

The club is holding the most shares it has ever held (18) , which is almost 2 per member.

Chris - It is worth analysing the shares we hace in terms of sectors covered? No decisions on this comment minuted.

Cyril still holds signature for some of the clubs accounts. He also is the main signoff at the stockbroker. Action needs to be taken to rectify this. No minutes were made actioning any one person to do this.

5. AOB

Chris reiterated his belief in the need for new blood.

Are we keen to keep the team splits now that we are down to 10? It was decided to make the decision next month

The third monday in December is the first day of the Zarlink shutdown. It was decided to hold Decembers meeting a week early on the 13th December.
